This post is the twenty second post in the #trackingeveryminute challenge. You can follow along here.
It might be the holidays, but kids sports teams do not take breaks. At least my sons doesn’t. This is the last sporting event of the holiday season. We were all together so we might as well enjoy it.

7:15 – 8:15. Get up and start preparing bagels.
8:15 – 10:00. Hang around the house.
10:00 – 11:30. Bake bagels and make breakfast for everyone.
11:30 – 1:00. Walk the dogs. Weather is great, dogs and dad love a walk when the temperature dips under 80.
1:00 – 2:00. Drive to my sons basketball game.
2:00 – 4:00. Basketball game.
4:00 – 5:00. Drive back home.
5:00 – 8:00. Back at the house and hanging out.
8:00 – 11:00. Family dinner then Christmas movie.
Do Nothing Type Day
It was a pretty low key day. I’ve noticed that I find tremendous joy in baking / cook. It’s an activity that requires concentration and presence. I am naturally curious so I enjoy trying new things out.
Makes sense to do more if it during the holidays, we’re all home and there is more downtime.
Main Takeaway
- Bake / cook more often
