About Time Audit

After being out of the SaaS (software as a service) space for about 8 years. I wanted to come back to it. I didn’t really know where to start. So I started brushing up on the newest methodologies and technologies.

Day after day, month after month, I was tinkering around but wasn’t really making any progress.

After a few months I realized I had made no progress towards actually creating a SaaS application. I’d learned a few things here and there, but didn’t really have much to show for it.

I was not using my time well. As I started researching how to best use my time, I figured why not create a product that can help me use my time better. So here we are.

This is my attempt at scratching my own itch.

Now, instead of not having a plan for what I am going to do each day, I know exactly what I am going to do each hour of the day.

In my experience, the results speak for themselves. You go from being completely reactive, to spending your time intentionally.

What’s worked best for me is reviewing how I am spending my time and making adjustments. Intention + review = much better than before.

Time Audit has given me a sense of calm as I have moved from now knowing how I was spending my time, to making my time. It was the ultimate irony that as I started to have more free time, I started to waste more time.

Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
